On March 20, the Sichuan Provincial Cultural Heritage Administration launched a global call for submissions for the Ancient Shu Civilization Logo, inviting individuals and organizations. The event seeks to fully inspire to discover a logo that reflects the cultural value and unique charm of the ancient Shu civilization.

There are clear requirements for submissions: entries must integrate elements from the Sanxingdui and Jinsha sites, highlighting the unique cultural value and significance of the ancient Shu civilization. The design should reflect an international perspective, Chinese cultural aesthetics, and the distinctive charm of the Ba-Shu region. It should align with the theme, feature an innovative composition and unique creativity, and be visually striking, highly recognizable, and artistically expressive. Submissions must include both an image file and a source file, accompanied by a written description of 300–800 words, and be sent via email to the event's dedicated email address: submit@visitancientshu.com.

It will award one first prize with a cash reward of RMB 50,000; two second prizes with RMB 10,000 each; three third prizes with RMB 5,000 each; and ten excellence prizes with RMB 2,000 each.

With its launch, the ancient Shu civilization is to rejuvenate with new vitality and energy in the modern era. A representative from the organizing committee stated that it will build a bridge across time and space, connecting the ancient Shu civilization with the modern world, enabling more people to understand, appreciate, preserve and pass on this precious human cultural heritage. HONG KONG SUPER MARCH HEATS UP WITH 2025 SEVENS AT ICONIC KAI TAK STADIUM

 

KUALA LUMPUR, March 19 (Bernama) -- Hong Kong Super March is in full swing, with 10 world-class events across sports, art, culture, and entertainment taking over the city this month.

The most anticipated event is the Cathay/HSBC Hong Kong Sevens 2025, scheduled from March 28 to 30 at the newly inaugurated Kai Tak Sports Park, according to the Hong Kong Tourism Board (HKTB) in a statement.

This year’s tournament marks a thrilling new chapter for the Hong Kong Sevens as it moves to the state-of-the-art, 50,000-seat Kai Tak Stadium, which opened its doors on March 1. The Hong Kong Sevens will feature cutting-edge technology and increased capacity, providing fans with an unforgettable experience. The stadium is equipped with a retractable roof and an innovative bowl cooling system to ensure comfort for everyone, while The Champion sports bar, one of Asia's largest, offers an exciting atmosphere and a full Sevens experience.

Returning to the Sevens is the legendary South Stand, which is now bigger and better than ever. Xsolla To Unveil Game Commerce Solutions At GDC 2025

KUALA LUMPUR, March 14 (Bernama) -- Xsolla, a global video game commerce company, will showcase its latest suite of tools and solutions at the Game Developers Conference (GDC) 2025 from March 17 to 21 at the Moscone Center in San Francisco.

In a statement, Xsolla said the company’s offerings are designed to help developers fund, market, launch, and monetise their games more effectively, as part of its ongoing We Bring Opportunities Together initiative.

Xsolla will showcase enhancements to its platform, including improvements to its Web Shop, Cloud Gaming service, expanded payment solutions in the Middle East and North Africa (MENA) region, and the launch of new revenue-driving tools.

With over 500 Web Shops already launched, Xsolla is introducing new features such as Progressive Web Apps, automated regional pricing, and a customisable loyalty programme to boost player engagement and revenue.

Its Cloud Gaming updates now include new acquisition tools, such as a "Play Before You Buy" demo feature and mobile browser compatibility, with support from Amazon AWS, Tencent Cloud, and a US$1 million cloud credit grant in partnership with Aethir. (US$1 = RM4.43)

To support developers in the MENA region, Xsolla has expanded its payment solutions to five new countries, adding 11 localised payment methods that improve accessibility for 380 million gamers.

Additionally, the company’s Publishing Suite offers developers a direct-to-consumer approach, allowing them to sell game keys, pre-orders, and in-game content with cross-platform purchasing support and built-in marketing tools.

Other offerings include the Xsolla Loyalty Program, which provides cashback rewards and tier-based incentives, and the Xsolla Offerwall, which enables developers to monetise non-paying players through advertiser-driven in-game tasks with up to 90 per cent revenue share.

Meanwhile, the Xsolla Gold Gift Card offers a flexible payment option for players, available in both physical and digital formats, allowing for seamless cross-platform redemption. The company is also expanding its Partner Network with artificial intelligence-powered influencer marketing tools, making it easier for developers to collaborate with content creators on platforms like Twitch, YouTube, and TikTok.
